The Process
- Content
You provide any content (images and copy) you want included in the website as well as any information about the sections of the site, number of pages, etc.
- Research
I get to know your business, customer base, and competition. This step is essential for designing a site that will make your business’s strengths stand out among the competition. It also provides the background for deciding what design style is going to match your business and communicate well with your customer base.
- Design
I design two separate layouts building on the knowledge from the research/concept stage of the design. The layouts let you decide whether you like the overall “look and feel” of one over the other.
- Design Approval
You choose one of the layouts I’ve designed and request any changes you’d like made to the way it looks. I make requested revisions and submit a final layout for approval.
- Implementation
Once the final layout is approved, I take the approved layout and build a functional website. This is the nuts & bolts step.
- Delivery
I upload the website to your web host, and the site is up and running! I provide explanations and/or basic training for how to manage and update the website content.
